Nintendo has finally announced that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild" will have an expansion pass but will only be available for purchase on the day of the game's launch.
It can be remembered that since the release of its original series in 1986, it then expanded including 18 entries on all of Nintendo's major game consoles. This game is one of the notable high fantasy action-adventure video games so far.
It has been one of Nintendo's most successful and prominent franchises as it sells over 75 million copies last year. No wonder why "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild's" developers still decided to keep the game updated.
According to Bgr, when a player purchases the expansion pass, there will be three new treasure chests that will be added. One of these will be containing a shirt. The shirt will have a Nintendo Switch logo. The shirt will then be worn by Link on his adventures, exclusive to the Expansion Pass. The two chests are items useful for his quest.
Mashable also added information about the two contents included on the Expansion Pass. The first content pack will be adding a "Cave of Trials challenge, a new feature for the in-game map, and a new hard mode.", which will eventually arrive this summer.
The second content pack, however, will be launched on the holiday season. It is said that it will offer "new challenges that will let players enjoy a new dungeon and a new original story."
Moreover, the DLC will be available to both Switch and Wii U which are identical. However, the content packs are not available individually so a player must get both contents.
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild's" DLC is set to launch on March 3, and will cost $19.99. For further details on the expansion pass, don't hesitate to visit the game's official website, Zelda.
