"Rocket League", the famed soccer-with-cars game is now bracing for its release on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. This is an attempt to make cross-playing a reality. Psyonix Studio has revealed that the company is bent of bringing cross-playing between two platforms to happen in 2017. However, the critical decision is dependent on Sony to allow cross gameplay on both consoles.
According to Gamerant, the game players of "Rocket League" are waiting for the test of the cross play to happen, especially that Microsoft is positive on the development as revealed by Psyonix VP Jeremy Dunham. It can be recalled that Sony had been toying on this idea of a possible cross-play in both platforms or even between the Microsoft PC and PS4 consoles. However, there are apprehensions on the latter's cross-play because these two are direct brand competitors.
In a review by PCAdvisor, "Rocket League" is the follow through game of its predecessor, the Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket - Powered Battle Cars. In this successor game, players will have to select on the competition, whether at the ranked or non-ranked categories. The players can either choose the solo, doubles or the 3 vs. 3 chaos matches, which can be completed in five minutes, unless there is an overtime due to equal scores.
"Rocket League" is a very simple game to play with, only that the gamers will have to practice on the controls to manuever the cars. For players out there who are excited about the game, they can pick the car of their choice and just join the race in a stadium that is so huge to go around to catch the balls. For pre-orders, prices are now set at RRP: £15.99. $29.99. Updates about the game is available at Gamenguide from time to time.
