Another report has been released through the official Twitter account of Team Cherry that the "Hollow Knight" is set to be released this month. It can be remembered that GameNGuide has reported that the game will be available to Nintendo Switch. The developer has had a long conversation with Nintendo and so the developer is proudly announcing that said game being available on Nintendo Switch is final.
Moreover, many players were surprised as the trailer shows a Metroid-inspired game. Now the game is the latest indie Metroidvania designation. Metroid has gained a positive feedback to those games enthusiasts.
"Hollow Knight" is a 2D action-adventure that allows a player to explore caverns that are twisted, "battle tainted creatures and escape intricate caps which all to solve an ancient long-hidden history." Its caverns have bizarre tainted creatures.
The game's descriptions, lore, and dialogue are getting translations with over 37,000 words of the game's script. The words are currently converted into German and French but the developer is also looking for possibilities for a Spanish translation.
PcGamesN notes that players will explore into Hollownest's kingdom by discovering the reasons on missing villagers and explorers upon exploring the said civilization. Its aesthetics is striking.
Upon exploring players will encounter bug companions that are cute and friendly while enemies can be bizarre. Players have to fight with gladiator flies, dutiful dung beetles, and fencing mantises.
"Hollow Knight" will finally be available on February 24, 2017, for PC and Mac. The game releases on Humble, GOG, and on Steam.
