As we reported yesterday, a "Game of Thrones" exhibit has popped up in SXSW, one which features an interactive experience that utilizes the Oculus Rift VR goggles. Attendees could enter a booth designed to look and feel like an elevator that was ascending to the top of The Wall that's located on the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, and see and experience the shock of ascending 700 feet into the air. Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Kristian Nairn (Hodor) and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) all attended and came off a impressed (and a little bit scared) of the experience.
There's a video below that shows just what they thought. Maisie Williams in particular doesn't do well with heights, and is pretty adorable while talking about how she felt during the experience. Nairn and Christie seemed to take things a little better, in fitting with their characters. It's not easy to faze those giants.
If you didn't know, Nairn is a DJ, and he took to DJing the event while people sat in the Iron Throne and took pictures, enjoying all the memorabilia on display. That's rigth, Hodor provided music for the party. Hodor. There was a lot of fun stuff on display, including a wall of picture in memory of all the (many, many) characters who have died so far.
Enjoy the video from Mashable below, but be warned that it does include spoilers from the third season of "Game of Thrones". No one can stop talking about that Red Wedding...
