"The Division: Last Stand" has been unveiled by Ubisoft. The expansion gameplay is based on "The Division: Dark Zone," which was popular for its western setting with a number of NPC and rogue agents that were designed to aim on the players.
"The Division: Dark Zone" Gameplay
"The Division: Dark Zone" only had few players, which made the map barren. With the "The Division: Last Stand" expansion, the maker is predicting the other way around.
"The Division: Last Stand" maker confirmed that the latest gameplay is in parallel with update 1.6. The content will bring special events, expanded maps, Dark Zone leaderboard, and tweaked Named gear. More than anything else, the company was proud to reveal that the release of the latest expansion is to lure more fans back into the game, US Gamer reported.
The latest update will also present new ways by which players can compete with one another. Since "Last Stand" is running on a session-based mode, better structures are provided for specific conditions and objectives to be achieved. Also, the mechanics limit participants to only two teams composed of four members, competing on who gets to control the terminals on the map first.
"The Division" Update 1.6 Exotic items, Dark zone
The update is reportedly not just any ordinary update. It is running on a Public Test Server, where Ubisoft is anticipating massive feedback. It should also be noted that Ubisoft is not introducing a brand new world tier because it has the tendency to alter player's Gear Score, Geeky Gadgets reported.
"The Division" update 1.6 brings changes to the Northern Front. The Dark Zone will be opened; new areas with underground locations and rooftops are integrated; landmarks will now allow waves of enemies when initial NPCs are eliminated; and contamination events are established. More powerful and smarter enemies are also placed to level-up the game's difficulty.
