"The Division's Last Stand" DLC gameplay have been revealed by Ubisoft. It will revolve around teams that are composed of eight players, battling for controls points.

The DLC's gameplay will happen in the Dark Zone. "The Division's Last Stand" will provide competitive battles that are free from consequences; each battle with its own exclusive gears and progression systems.
All players will be grouped in either teams of eight members or squads of four. All of them will upload data in terminals around Dark Zone. Gamers will have to take note that a few areas are customized to fit the mode perfectly.
"The Division's Last Stand" DLC gamers also has to remember that respawning AI constantly will make transferring from one location to another a lot difficult. Therefore, they will have to aim to go through tough areas successfully and reach the points where elite AI are defending. Players can either pick the enemies pinned down by AIs or they can fight the enemies and reach to the point first.
If gamers need to achieve SDH tech, they can also choose to farm AI. The SDH tech is a resource team which could be utilized to unlock fortifications and tactical boosts; thus add another layer of strategic play. Turrets could be also placed and spawned at home bases to further create a layer of defense, True Achievements reported.

Prior to the release of the DLC, a teaser was released to show-off what gamers could expect from the content. Although it revealed some information about the game, experts said the video was more like a confirmation of the data mined a few weeks back, Forbes reported. "The Division: Last Stand" DLC, according to data mining, is going to have a dominant PvP game mode style.
"The Division: Last Stand DLC" was first set to release in the winter of 2016. The delay was reportedly due to the issues of the core gameplay.
