Microsoft's Xbox One console has recently added a new update on the gaming device, the copilot mode, which is tied into the Xbox Guide interface. The Xbox Guide is only available to the members of the premium Xbox Insider Program.
The Premium Xbox Insider which was previously known as Xbox Preview Program is a user feedback program that would allow certain users to send their feedback. The feedback will be used for the improvement of the Xbox features.
This update is definitely a great success since players have now the freedom to assign two gamepads to the same player. According to Game Rant, Xbox Partner Group Program Manager Scott Henson revealed what the latest update would include. Although there are important updates such as accessibility options, faster center button functionality included that would satisfy gamers, the most significant one is the copilot mode. This new mode will allow "two controllers to act as if they are one".
Moreover the best thing about the copilot mode is to provide gamers with the experience of playing their favorite games by allowing controller configurations on their Xbox One. Hence, the copilot mode makes the console to allow gamers to access games in the console.
To make gamers more happy with the update, Microsoft has also added the Xbox One Achievement Tracker, which allow gamers to easily tag their games without digging through the achievements menu to track their progress.
With its success in Xbox One, Microsoft will continue improve its console, especially in the upcoming Project Scorpio. Gamenguide previously reported that Microsoft will be developing the most powerful console of the year. Project Scorpio, which is branded as the beast, is expected to keep up with Sony's PS4.
