"Pokemon Go" 1.23.1 update for iOS and 0.53.1 for Android have been just been released by Niantic. Based on the patch notes, the updates come with a fix for the GPS Drift.

With the release of "Pokemon Go" updates for iOS and Android, some changes have been noted. These changes include minor text fixes, display of eggs that were collected from PokeStops and the change in distance tracking for a better GPS drift.
"Pokemon Go" trainers reportedly thought that the update would make the hatching eggs more difficult given the fix for GPS to better account the distance tracking. Fortunately, that was not the case, considering the reports that the fix worked to the trainers' advantage in hatching eggs easier. Now, playing the game to hatch eggs become faster as well, Otakukart reported.
"Pokemon Go" 0.53 Brings More Evolution Items, New Moves
According to reports, 38 new moves have been included with the release of the "Pokemon Go" 0.53 update. Aside from the Transform move of Ditto, there are also new charge and quick moves that have been added to the game.
New charge moves in "Pokemon Go" include Close Combat, Focus Blast, Wild Charge, Avalanche, Sky Attack, Silver Wind, Gyro Ball, Overheat, Energy Ball, Mirror Coat, Dynamic Punch, Aurora Beam, Zap Cannon, Brave Bird, Night Shade and Heavy Slam among others. On the other hand, new quick moves include the Counter, Charge Beam, Dragon Tail, Struggle Bug, Iron Tail, Bullet Seed, Powder Snow, Volt Switch, Astonish, Fire Spin, Extrasensory, Infestation, Hex, Air Slash and Snarl.
"Pokemon Go" also features new Evolution items like Kings Rock, Sun Stone, Dragon Scale, Metal Coat and Upgrade that reportedly appear explicitly, but do no have graphic assets yet. This brings fans to speculate that a new evolution mechanic may arrive soon, according to The Silph Road.
