'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Will There Be A Scorpio Version?

“Mass Effect” is one of the most popular game series of the last decade and now, it will release the newest addition to its series. Brought forth by BioWare, the masters of RPG, it is expected to be one of their best works.

When it comes to “Mass Effect: Andromeda” and Microsoft’s update to the XBOX, named Scorpio, things are not as simple as one would want them to be. Games Radar shares statement by BioWare officials on the topic of a possible release for the new console. There are a few setbacks to the realization of a Scorpio version of the game.

The biggest one among them is that the console will not be released before the game’s official release. Another problem is that the team behind the game has not considered the Scorpio as an option. In future releases as GOTY version or re-masters of the game, it could be considered, but for now nothing is certain.

Game Rant reports that Scorpio is not the only soon to be released console which will not receive a version of “Mass Effect: Andromeda”. Nintendo fans will also miss out on the fun, as for now there are no statements on a Nintendo ”Switch” version being prepared at the moment.
Good news is that on PC, PS 4 and XBOX One, the title will receive full HDR support, which means that everyone is getting amazing graphical performance, no matter of the medium they use to play the game through.

The latest news on Mass Effect’s official site consider the announced release date. Aaryn Flynn, General Manager of BioWare shares that the game comes to the American region on 21st of March and will be released worldwide on 23rd of March.


So, set a free date in your calendar, prepare your machine and jump into the Andromeda galaxy in a search for humanity’s new home. “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be released on March 23, Worldwide.
