‘Injustice’ the NetherRealm hit game, which let players pit their favorite DC superheroes against each other will soon be back with a sequel title. When will the game arrive and what is there to expect in the newest fighting game of the veteran studio?
According to Entertainment Weekly, “Injustice 2” the sequel to the DC superhero brawl hit, developed by NetherRealm studios will be released on May 16, 2017. Sadly for PC gamers, “Injustice 2” will only be released for XBOX One and Playstation 4. For now a statement about a ported version of the game has not been released, but since the first game got one, it is not too far-fetched of a possibility.
A lot of familiar faces will be coming back in the second edition of the “Injustice” game. Among them are Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Harley Quinn and many more. Newcomers will also appear, one of them is Deadshot, Gamespot reports. The mercenary who never misses his bullets will be added to the roster of heroes and villains available in the game. The character of Deadshot is cult Batman villain and recently gained additional fame through his appearance in the “Suicide Squad” movie, where he was portrayed by Will Smith.

According to them, the story continues from where the first game ended. Superman has been imprisoned for his deeds against humanity, but a new threat is arriving to this world and it is strong enough for the heroes to consider releasing Superman from his prison to try and collaborate against the new threat. “Injustice 2” will be released on May 16 for XBOX One and PS 4.
