Nintendo's newest version of "Double Dragon IV" is confirmed to be downloadable on the game's official site for the price of 800 yen or $8. It is also set to launch on January 30. The game is also known as the "Super Double Dragon."
"Double Dragon IV" trailer has already been dropped which was described to be light on details but the game has a story mode. Mode which comes with two player in duel, Japanese Mode and an unspecified mode. Geek wrote that the game has been brought back from its old version and enhanced it with modern touch of new engines and graphics.
The game will be released next year on PlayStation 4 and PC. Though it will still look like the 80's but it is also called as the "Super Double Dragon," so with that name the game is expected to deliver what gamers should be expecting as well.
En Gadget also wrote that behind the newest development of "Double Dragon IV" is the three original developers of the game who helped each other in planning, designing and molding the game, but has kept its classic feel.
"Double Dragon IV" will deliver a brand new taste of the game's newest series. According to its trailer, the protagonists Jimmy and Billy are back in fighting forms on its duel mode though it's pretty unclear whether the options are limited for gameplay.
Director Yoshihisa Kishimoto directed this newest project. "Double Dragon III: The Roseta Stone" has been launched in 1990 and it is said that "Double Dragon IV" has been the first numbered game of this series.
