The holidays are a great time to drop some awesome new trailers for upcoming games, and Sega is the latest studio to take advantage of the Christmas season. In fact, they've dropped not one but two fresh trailers for the upcoming RPG, "Valkyria Revolution."
While there is no North American release date attached to the game just yet, Sega releases "Elsinore" and "Legion" trailers for "Valkyria Revolution." PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the two new "Valkyria Revolution" trailers feature the "Legion" battle system and the "Elsinore" city.
Gamers who are anticipating the release date of "Valkyria Revolution" in 2017 should know that the Sega RPG is arriving to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One sometime in the second quarter of 2017, as per Gematsu. Gamers in Japan, however, can get it on January 19 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
"Valkyria Revolution" is set in the small nation of Jutland, where the powerful Rus empire rules. Their economies are driven by the azure mineral Ragnite, which provides energy and magical properties. Jutland is also home to the Valkyria, god-like creatures. Gamers are to play as Amleth, the leader of Jutland's anti-Valkyria army.
An earlier report from Gematsu indicates that the first-print copies of "Valkyria Revolution" will include a product code for "Report: Vanargand Formation." The "Report" is a "fully-voiced additional story" that takes place a day before the game's main story. Those who also pre-register for the game will receive the product code to download the "Report" as well.
"Valkyria Revolution" is directed by Takeshi Ozawa and produced by Youichi Shimosato and Katsura Mikami. It is developed by Media.Vision and published by Sega in North America and Deep Silver in Europe. To keep up with the latest on "Valkyria Revolution," bookmark this page.
