Back in October, EA and Respawn Entertainment celebrated the release of the highly anticipated "Titanfall 2," which turned out to be the best shooter games of 2016. The Steve Fukuda-directed game features an amazing single player campaign and impressive weapons that are a great improvement from its 2014 predecessor.
Over Christmas, Respawn celebrated a double XP holiday weekend, giving "Titanfall 2" fans an opportunity to earn twice as much XP as they can. PlayStation Lifestyle reported that the event began on the 23rd and ran up until 9 p.m. last night, giving fans a truly magical "Titanfall 2" Christmas.
"Titanfall 2" has also been hailed Best Shooter of 2016 by both PlayStation Lifestyle and PC Gamer, thanks to its critically acclaimed gameplay. PC Gamer cites that Respawn successfully combined the elements of a shooter game, parkour, and "mech combat" to create unique missions that keep gamers engaged.
They also cited two of the most standout levels in the game being "The Abyss" and "Effect and Cause." Another reason why "Titanfall 2" is hailed Best Shooter of 2016 is its movement systems, which are described as "robust and intuitive."
According to Mirror, the single player campaign of "Titanfall 2" is "pretty darn fun" and features a compelling story that will keep gamers engaged. For beginners, they also recommend wallrunning and double jumping to cover more ground for exploration. Note that "Titanfall 2" maps are amazingly multi-level, giving gamers so much more room to explore.
