With most getting into the Christmas mood, there are some other matters that need addressing. This includes the fee games for the Xbox Games with Gold this January 2017 from Microsoft.
Major Nelson bares the free games set for next month, two freebies each for Xbox One and Xbox 360 users, the official site reported. Thanks to the Microsoft backward compatibility program, the free Xbox 360 game titles can also be played on the Xbox One, technically meaning folks can get four free game titles to choose from.
Xbox One Free Games
Among the free games for the Xbox One include “World of Van Hellsing: Deathtrap” which will be available for the whole month of January. The other free game title is “Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition” which will be available from Jan. 16 to Feb. 15, 2017, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.
Xbox 360 Free Games
For the Xbox 360 game offering, there is “The Cave” and “Rayman Origins”. “The Cave” will be available from Jan. 1 to 15 while “Rayman Origins” picks up starting Jan. 16 to 31. Both are also available for Xbox One users since they have backwards compatibility support.
The new game titles will replace the December free games. The list includes “Sleeping Dog: Definitive Edition”, “Outlast”, “Outland” and “Burnout Paradise”. Of the mix, “Outland” is the only December free game title that is no longer available. For Xbox Games with Gold members who haven’t checked out the December free games, you can still get them now before they expire.
Speaking of the Xbox One backwards compatibility program, the list of games were recently appended with new game titles. Among the last games added include “Bully” Scholarship Edition, “Catherine”, “Clannad”, “Planets Under Attack”, “Raskulls”, and “Skydive”. The new game titles are part of Microsoft’s initiative to offer 300 supported games for 2016 for their customer base.
