Great news for fans of the DICE first-person shooter, "Battlefield 1," as the studio announces holiday events beginning today. There's a slew of new content and activities to enjoy from now until 2016 bows out.
The news comes via PlayStation Lifestyle, which reports that the event is called "Battlefield 1 Holiday Event" and features new custom game modes, dog tags, and so much more new content. "Battlefield 1" gamers should expect the Custom Game called "Blind Delivery" to be live now. It features a War Pigeons mode in which gamers must utilize only handguns and explosives in the game.
According to Gamespot, the new mode in "Battlefield 1 Holiday Event" called "Blind Delivery" has the minimap turned off, so that would be an interesting dynamic to play. Just head over to the Custom game tab of the multiplayer menu to access it.
THe "Battlefield 1 Holiday Event" also features the “Holiday Truce” Dog Tag, which goes live today. It's so easy to obtain, just log into your account and you'll be given this immediately. Also beginning today, gamers can enjoy two new Heavy Tank Vehicle Skins called "SchnucK" and "Desert Gold."
Meanwhile, the "Battlefield 1 Holiday Event" will also feature a free Battlepack from December 23 to 29. According to the official "Battlefield 1" page, the Battlepacks are redesigned and will feature three rare Weapon Skins, including Special, Distinguished, and Lengendary.
Also beginning tomorrow, those who have the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will be able to enjoy two Superior Battlepacks as a Christmas present. Head over to the "Battlefield 1" page to learn more about these awesome treats.
