Flappy Bird Deleted, But Cthulhu Rises With Flapthulhu

Flapthulhu Fills Your Flappy Birds Void, Mortal

Flappy Bird may have come and gone but that is not dead which can eternal lie. Flapthulhu is one of a huge number of Flappy Bird clones that have swarmed the mobile marketplaces after the original game's creator lost his mind and said goodbye to his cash cow, which was reportedly pulling in $50k a day.

Flappy Bird clones are reportedly being blocked from even enterting the portal to the Apple and Google Play stores but the void is being constantly filled, and now with an Elder God. This game is different enough, and arguably satire, so it should be left alone. No cultists are required to play Flapthulhu, as it's a free (ad-supported) download on iOS. You can even play it on your PC from developer Madgarden's site for whatever price you choose- yes, even for $0. It's currently only supported for PC but Mac and Linux versions are on the way, much like our world's destruction at the hands (tentacles?) of those who came before us.

Flapthulhu plays pretty much exactly the same as Flappy Bird, except it seems to be much more difficult. Cthulhu's big tentacled head is tricky to guage as you make him flap through the gates of R'lyeh. The graphics's color scheme have a bit of a retro, NES theme to them- green and purple and full of madness. Better yet, the more gates you flap through the more a portal in the background will crack open, eventually opening to bring you to the eldritch dimension...

If you're missing Flappy Bird, don't go crazy. Here's your God now. Check it out in the App Store.
