"Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Remastered also featured something for the holidays. The game recently received holiday-themed maps and weapons but this is not the end as Activision is set to begin the "12 Days of Winter" event on Dec. 21.
The event was announced earlier today via "Call of Duty" social networking account, "The 12 Days of Winter begin Dec. 21 in #InfiniteWarfare! Log in each day at 9 PM PT to receive unique in-game rewards through Jan. 1st," the tweet reads.
As part of the Christmas "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" event, Activision gave players the chance to try out all 3 modes in the full #InfiniteWarfare package. The best part is that, it is for free at the special trial event which began on Dec. 15.
Moreover, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Remastered holiday content have six multi-player maps. On the other hand, shortly after the release of Infinite Warfare's Christmas update, new leaks that were published on Reddit suggest that a "Variety Map" Pack is coming to Modern Warfare Remastered too.
Based on the post, the pack will come as DLC and it will introduce the Chinatown, Creek, Broadcast and Killhouse remastered maps. It was said that this info was found in a file by "Call of Duty" data miners.
As stated, the Variety Map pack is the only downloadable content to be released for the original Modern Warfare. In addition, the leak disclosed that new guns are on the way and such weapons have never appeared in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" before.
The files revealed two new guns: the Kamchatka-12 Full-Auto Shotgun and XM-LAR. Other weapons that can be expected in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered include a Hatchet, Sickle and Gladius.
Meanwhile, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" tops the game charts this holiday in UK. It bested other game favorites including "Battlefield 1," "FIFA 17," "Final Fantasy 15," "GTA 5" and "Watch Dogs 2."
