Bandai Namco has been keeping fans excited since they announced "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." The game was released initially for the arcades only and has received multiple balance changes and updates. Ever since the company's announcement of its 2017 console release, players have been continually surprised by the game's upcoming console-exclusive content.
Bandai Namco throws yet another surprise for fans when top "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" players JDCR and Saint, were invited to play a new build of the game during the company's "Thank You Festival" in South Korea . The two players were excited to see Lee Chaolan and Miguel playable. They were also able to note the some new stages included in the playable build. JDCR tweeted "Me and Saint are at Bandai Namco festival. Didn't expect them and new maps," claimed Shoryuken.
The two players were able to record some footage of them playing. Saint also tweeted a photo of the "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution's" character select screen. Players will notice that the two newly announced characters, Panda and Kuma are still absent from the selection screen. One of the photos also showcases Lee Chaolan's alter-ego Violet as one of his default costumes.
"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is also set to feature customizable accessories and costumes for every character. EventHubs reports that the game will have tons of clothing and accessories for players to mix and match. Some of these items range from normal clothes and costumes, to hilarious, sexy and weird ones. Take for example this costume set for Yoshimitsu, which replaces his cybernetic appearance with a hammerhead shark headgear. Another one for Jack turns him into a golem-like monster from a "Dragon Quest" game.
After keeping "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" in arcades only since its official debut on March of 2015, Bandai Namco will be most likely releasing a well-polished game once it hits consoles early 2017. Games from the "Tekken" series have always enjoyed great character balance and more content.
