2K and Irrational Games have just sent over word that Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode Two will see a release date on March 25. It will be available simultaneously worldwide for all available platforms for the game- PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Along with that they sent over this brand-new screenshot that may surprise you if you're not familiar with the story thus far- check out whose hands those are!
This is of course the third piece of DLC, the highly-anticipated second part of the Burial at Sea single-player campaign that sees you returning to Rapture, the underwater city made famous in the first two Bioshock games. It actually takes place before the events of those games, before the fall of Rapture, but the nature of Bioshock Inifinite being what it is there's question of whether it's the same universe you played in anyway.
There have been many criticisms leveled against the first part of Burial at Sea, not the least of which was the game's length. It only took a few hours to complete and so director Ken Levine is reporting that the second part will be significantly longer than the first, and will take about five to six hours to complete. That's good news for anyone who wants to get as much as they can from the world- don't forget that this is likely to be the last DLC for the game, and possibly your last chance to explore Rapture.
Burial at Sea: Part One will be available for $15 but don't forget that there's a season pass available for $20 that includes both parts, as well as the Clash in the Clouds arena mode. If you want an idea of why Elizabeth is the main character this time, make sure to play through Burial at Sea Part One and then check out the below trailer, which shows the first few minutes of the second part, as well as the return of a infamous villain to the series.
