“MacBook Pro” Latest News & Updates: Apple In Panic Mode, Now Hiring Battery Experts To Solve MacBook Pro Power Glitch?

As complaints about the battery life of MacBook Pro continue to increase, Apple is now hiring battery and power engineers and specialists in a bid to end the controversy. The hiring announcement, posted on Apple's website, came days after it drew flak on its "unusual solution" in solving the reported battery issue of its latest flagship device.

The Cupertino tech giant is now looking for Battery Algorithm Analysis Engineer and System Power and Control Architect. These posts will likely tackle the power and battery problems that hounded Apple devices including MacBook Pro and iPad Pro 2.

The job description for the Battery Algorithm Analysis Engineer enumerated that candidates for the position are required to verify advanced lithium-ion battery management technology through battery testing and data analysis. It also asks them to create test plans and conducting battery tests.

"You will be expected to process test data to generate steady-state and dynamical models, identify model parameters, and implement various model-based algorithms in different test platforms to evaluate their performance," the company said.

For System Power and Control Architect, Apple is looking for a resourceful systems architect to develop, prototype and analyze efficacy and robustness of power control algorithms including the evaluation of its prototype implementations. The job hunt was published as Apple struggle to convince MacBook Pro owners that there's nothing wrong with the hardware of the device. This after the tech giant simply eliminated the "time remaining" feature of MacBook Pro when complaints mounted that it could hardly deliver the supposed 10-hour battery life.

In a survey conducted on the pool of MacBook Pro users, around half said the device only runs between four to five hours, 25 percent said around six to seven hours, 15 percent around eight to nine hours, and only 6.7 percent said they have full 10 hours. To test the battery life of your MacBook Pro, follow this guide here:
