Disney fans and avid gamers have been eagerly anticipating the release of "Kingdom Hearts 3." Latest gaming speculations teased that Square Enix's upcoming Jump Festa showcase may unveil some details about the said game.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" may be one of the highly-awaited new gaming titles from Square Enix. With its impressive graphics, unique gameplay and the inclusion of beloved Disney characters, many gamers fell in love with the "Kingdom Heart" franchise.
However, details about the upcoming game have been scant. Over the past months, Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts" promotions focused on "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" and other remastered versions of earlier installments.
With the company set to launch "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" and "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX" during the first quarter of 2017, avid fans are expecting to learn more about "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the coming weeks. Some reports event speculated that Square Enix may unveil some details about the said game in the upcoming Jump Festa 2017.
Scheduled on Dec. 17 and Dec. 18, many fans are hoping that Square Enix will include a "Kingdom Hearts 3" snippet or short teaser during its showcase. However, the Japanese gaming company already announced that its "Kingdom Hearts" presentation will only feature the game's 2.8 and 1.5+2.5 HD installments, according to iDigital Times.
Nevertheless, avid gamers are still looking forward to the Jump Festa event. Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" presentation may even yield some clues about "Kingdom Hearts 3's" content and storyline.
Apart from the upcoming event, game director Tetsuya Nomura previously shared his plans to reveal new information about the game in January. In an earlier event, he promised to provide "Kingdom Hearts 3" updates once "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" is released on Jan. 12, 2017.
Meanwhile, other gaming speculations indicated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will include various Disney worlds and characters from "Tangled," "Hercules" and "Big Hero 6." Sora's quests will also involve searching for the seven Guardians of Light with the help of loyal companions Donald Duck and Goofy.
