After the fall finale of "Suits" Season 6 shocked everyone when it was revealed that Jessica (played by Gina Torres) will be leaving Pearson Specter Litt, it looks like the return of "Suits" season 6 will be delayed. The popular legal dramedy is said to be scrambling to borrow Torres from the production of "The Catch" season 2 after rumors that star Gabriel Macht is negotiating an exit from the show as well.
While TV Guide already reported a return date, it is rumored that the producers of "Suits" Season 6 and "The Catch" season 2 are in talks to share Torres for a few weeks. This is said to be in response to rumors that Gabriel Macht is also negotiating a departure from "Suits."
It can be recalled that Gina Torres left earlier in "Suits" season 6. According to TV Line, in the summer finale of "Suits" Season 6, her character, Jessica Pearson, was portrayed as leaving Pearson Specter Litt for Chicago. Torres will now be appearing in "The Catch" season 2 instead as a possible romantic rival to Mireille Enos' Alice Vaughan.
You can watch the spring premiere of "Suits" Season 6 on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 9 pm ET on the USA Network while "The Catch" season 2 will start its run on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 10 pm ET. Should there be any more spoilers and updates on "Suits" season 6 and "The Catch" season 2, GameNGuide will be posting more about it in the next few weeks.
