When normal people are confronted with death, most would just deal with it and move on in a process that can be shared almost universally. But cue an anime or any television show and the formula changes almost instantly, too, much to their fans' delighted realization. And as such, when killed-off characters rise from the dead, certain fandoms also rally with their conscious theories and super-charged speculations. Case in point is the reanimation of Lelouch Lamperouge in the forthcoming season 3 of "Code Geass: Lelouch of The Revival."
The massive theory comes a bit ironic considering that "Code Geass: Lelouch of The Revival" has just been given the greenlight for season 3. Either way, the speculation on Lelouch's revival has come in handy just in time for the anime's imminent arrival. The several discussions across the rumor mills culminate into this single question — just how will Lelouch Lamperouge come from the dead, and more importantly, how will he pull this drama off?
One of the more pertinent theories on this was shared by this publication. Accordingly, the return of Lelouch in "Code Geass: Lelouch of The Revival" season 3 can be stemmed from the fact that the character has traveled in time after the Zero Requiem. For the uninitiated, the "Zero Requiem" arc tells the story of how Lamperouge was suspected to have already died and that his death was sacrificed to somehow turn the government's wheel for the benefit of the people.
A more plausible cause for Lelouch's return could also be attributed to the theory that he possesses the power of code, which ultimately renders him as an immortal. Another one on the list is the theory that all of these dramas could just be an elaborate death hoax to divert the attention from the real agenda. A premiere date for Code Geass: Lelouch of The Revival" season 3's has not been confirmed but rumors suggest a 2017 release.
