Worry not, Crane fans--it looks like former Oxford professor and current Witness, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) won't be wallowing long after the death of his partner, Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. A series of new promo photos from Fox revealed that Crane is up and about defeating demons alongside new partner, Diana (Janina Gavankar). Could this escalate into something more?
What to expect from 'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4
"Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 will be picking up from the events of last season, after Abbie's death and the eventual departure of several key cast, like Nikki Reed, Lance Gross and Jessica Camacho. Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane and Abbie's sister Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) will be moving to Washington, D.C. to work with a secret organization founded by George Washington to combat supernatural forces.
There, Crane and Jenny will search for the second Witness in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. A new location also means new team mates, which include the engineer Alex (Rachel Melvin), the academic Jake (Jerry McKinnon), and new partner and love interest Diana (Gavankar), according to International Business Times. The two will initially have trouble adjusting to each other's quirks and methods, but eventually, they will bond over the mutual loss of their loved ones.
As previously reported on TVLine, Diana lost her husband, has a 10-year-old daughter and does not even believe in the supernatural world. She and Crane, Mison explained, both have holes in their lives. However, that doesn't automatically translate into being each other's new lovers in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, immediately, he explained. They don't immediately fall into each other's arms and become lovers. Instead, it's more of a process of finding themselves amid their respective losses.
