2018 and 2019 will be years for rejoicing as the two highly-anticipated sequel movies of "Pacific Rim" and "Godzilla" are approaching. Before coming to theaters, Legendary Pictures announced their new title; "Pacific Rim: Uprising" and "Godzilla: King Of The Monsters".
Before the Legendary Pictures changed the title, it was called "Pacific Rim: Maelstrom". However, it was a working title at that time until certain changes have been made and the new movie title was born.
"Pacific Rim: Uprising" fans are expecting that there will be more action in the upcoming movie since Chinese actor Zhang Jin is now included in the cast. Jin is not the only Chinese actor in the cast. The movie also stars Wesley Wong, Yong Chen, Lily Ji, Qian, Chen Zitong, Xiao Yang and Lang Yingying. It only proves that China will have a huge contribution to the movie.
"Pacific Rim: Uprising" will evolve after the defeat of the Kaiju and will soon have a comeback scene. The movie is now currently shooting in Australia and will proceed to China. On the other hand, "Godzilla: King Of The Monsters" might include King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan to the sequel story. Many of their fans noticed that the new title of the movie was the first name of "Godzilla" movie which was released in 1956. However, Legendary Pictures didn't say anything about this matter. Whatever the inspiration for the title, all of their fans will surely have a blast when the movie takes place in theaters.
"Godzilla: King Of The Monsters" will be released on March 22, 2019, in which, Michael Dougherty was the director of the film. He has also directed the "Trick 'R Treat" and "Krampus" movies. While February 23, 2018, is the release date for "Pacific Rim: Uprising" with Steven S. DeKnight as the director who was the showrunner of "Daredevil" and "Spartacus."
