On "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show, after the 2017 Spider-Man trailer debut, the Spider-Man sequel was announced. Due to the positive buzz from its debut in Civil War movie, the filmmakers are confident to announce the "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2" film.
In the report of The Hollywood Reporter, it says that Sony has set a schedule for the "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2" on July 5, 2019. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence movie "Bad Boys 4" was also announced on that date, but the producer decided to pull back its initial schedule for the Marvel film.
The same site also reported that Tom Holland, the new actor of Peter Parker and who made his debut as the hero in the "Captain America: Civil War," will have more appearance on the big screen.
