A short but sweet promo for “Grimm” Season 6 has been released by NBC and it seems that it wants to emphasize one thing more than anything and that is, death is imminent. It will be the farewell season of the series and it seems to be making a full-blown villain out of Renard (Sasha Roiz).
Renard’s own brand of law
In the said promo for “Grimm” Season 6, Renard is going after Nick (David Giuntoli) and appears to be not stopping at anything until he kills him. This is also indicated in the official synopsis of the season. As the mayor elect of Portland and having gained a position of power, Renard is set to bring rise to his own brand of law and order.
Nick takes a protective stand
Renard will find his opposition in Nick, who must take a stand in protecting his city and the persons closest to him, most especially his child with Adalind (Claire Coffee). The “Grimm” synopsis also says that it will take Nick and his allies’ full force to find a way to bring peace to the city.
The fugitive
Being the primary target of Renard in “Grimm” Season 6, Nick will be forced to be on the run. This maybe the reason behind the season premiere being titled “Fugitive”. However, Nick won’t be alone while on the run since he will have Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) as company based on the promo. Where they will be going remains to be seen.
Juliette or Adalind?
The assassin has been previously showing signs that she may revert back to her old self, Juliette, the woman who loved Nick and was loved back in return. But, in “Grimm” Season 6, it seems that he will be in a relationship with Adalind, the mother of his child that will forever bind them. It is unfortunate though that because of this situation, Nick has caught the wrath of Diana (Hannah R. Lloyd) who will do everything jut to make sure her mother, Adalind, will end up with her father, Renard, and not Nick.
Also in “Grimm” Season 6, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) will grapple in coming to terms with bringing a child into a new and tumultuous world. The final 13 episodes of the series will air beginning Friday, January 6, on NBC.
