"Deadpool 2" latest spoilers suggest that fans may see Hugh Jackman in the upcoming sequel. Fans figured that Wolverine may return the cameo made by Deadpool during "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009. More so, there are speculations that four villains will fight against the unconventional superhero.
'Deadpool 2' Star Hugh Jackman's Wolverine?
To recall, Ryan Reynolds made a brief appearance as Wade Wilson (Deadpool) in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009. The actor hopes that the actor may return the favor for the upcoming "Deadpool 2."
Entertainment Weekly claims that Reynolds wants Hugh Jackman to reprise his role and make an appearance on his very own standalone film with Marvel. The producers and the actor are said to be in talks as of the moment and nothing is confirmed for "Deadpool 2."
If Jackman turns up in "Deadpool 2," creators need to devise a way to develop a deeper connection between Deadpool and Wolverine. This mean that creators need to explore the dynamics between Wade and Logan given that they weren't the best of friends in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
While Wolverine and Deadpool aren't the best of friends in the X-Men movie, this is as far as the hatred for each one goes. His genuine love for Jackman is the main reason that Reynolds wanted him in "Deadpool 2." There may be a lot of convincing to do since "Logan" - Jackman' third standalone film-will be the last Jackman will do.
Deadpool Vs Four Villains
Meanwhile, "Deadpool 2" may see the unusual superhero fighting four villains according to latest speculations. The production is currently in progress with David Leitch replacing Tim Miller in the director's chair.
According to FILM, Cable is confirmed to appear in "Deadpool 2" and Stephen Lang may bring this character to life. Kyle Chandler is also rumored to be in competition for the role. Taskmaster is another villain that could face Deadpool, which has the ability to mimic skills simply by observing the person.
Adding to the list is the Puppet Master, which has the ability to turn people into puppets. Lastly, Madcap is expected to make an appearance. He is considered as Marvel's version of Joker. "Deadpool 2" is set to hit the theaters on January 12, 2018.
