"Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is no doubt one of the most anticipated anime this year. However, fans are disappointed that 2016 is almost over, yet Kaneki Ken is still a no show.
The long delay makes fans think that "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is not coming anymore. However, fans should keep in mind that the producing team of the series has already confirmed the third installment of the show so there is really no need to get worried.
Real Cause of Delay
But what is keeping "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 on hold? There are many speculations when it comes to the cause of its delay but the most logical one is the lack of sufficient materials for the third season to be released.
It was said that although there are already 12 "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 episodes in the file, the producers think that they may experience problems with the continuity if the series suddenly ends because there are no extra episodes on standby. So, this means there is not enough supply to guarantee the smooth airing of the show.
Now, seeing that the lack of extra episodes could pose possible issues in the future, the production team of "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3, decided that it will be better to indefinitely postpone the show until they have enough materials on hand. The producers are just doing this to ensure that the upcoming season will not appear incomplete.
Spoiler
