Two years have already passed ever since "Sons of Anarchy" has ended, but a spin-off series is already expected to arrive titled "Mayans MC." Recently, the go signal has already been given for the pilot episode of "Mayans MC" under the production of Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. A lot of fans are also wondering if Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) will make an appearance in the upcoming series.
Based on reports, a lot of fans are hoping that Jax Teller would be present in the spin-off series of "Sons of Anarchy," "Mayans MC." Unfortunately, the chance of the character reappearing is bleak since the spin-off is a sequel to the original. This is due to the death of Jax Teller during the series finale of "Sons of Anarchy. The only way that the character would reappear again if there are flashbacks that feature him.
It was not just the fans who were grieving when the series ended its seven-season run; Charlie Hunnam was affected as well since he got attached to Jax Teller. It was also reported before that Hunnam also had no choice, but to move on even though he will miss the main character of "Sons of Anarchy." Despite the unfortunate news that Jax Teller might not make a cameo again, some fans still see a glimmer of hope that there will be an unseen flashback of the character in "Mayans MC."
"Mayans MC" may possibly start production in March 2017 and it will be produced by Fox 21 Television and FX Productions. Sutter will be part of the of the spinoff series of "Sons of Anarchy" as a producer. Aside from Sutter, James is also onboard with the project as an executive producer.
