It's finally here! After months of speculation, Nintendo finally gave more details about the price list of games that will be playable on its new console, the Nintendo Switch.
Some fans can get the chance to try the Nintendo Switch before its official release in January. A few My Nintendo users were invited to test the console early next year. These three-day Nintendo Switch events in the United States require invites but the last day will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. As reported by Gamenesia, catch them in New York on January 13-15, in Washington, DC on Feb. 10-12, in Chicago on Feb. 17-19, in Los Angeles on Feb. 24-26, and in San Francisco on March 3-5.
New game titles released on the Nintendo Switch
The latest title to be announced is "Seasons of Heaven," a video game adaptation of the French novel by Nico Augusto about a boy and his dog in the wilderness. Produced by AnyArts Productions, the game runs on the Unreal Engine 4. It will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch and its full trailer drops on Monday, Dec. 19.
Just last week, developer THQ also confirmed that it will be producing three titles for the Nintendo Switch. This includes "Sphinx," "Cursed Mummy" and "War Leaders: Clash of Nations and Legends of War."
In the lead-up to the release of the Nintendo Switch, more and more games are slowly being added. But from the get-go, it has already been revealed that "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind" and "Dragon Quest XI" would be headlining the list. "Dark Souls 3," "Lego City Undercover" and "Super Mario" can also be expected.
'The Elder Scrolls' comes to Nintendo Switch?
As previously reported on GamenGuide, Bethesda partnered with the Nintendo Switch. This partnership has its own terms and part of the contract may be for Bethesda to develop its games for the console. Since "The Elder Scrolls" such has a large fanbase, it is likely that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" will be released for the Switch soon. The highly anticipated upcoming title in the franchise, "The Elder Scrolls 6," could possibly even make its debut on the platform! Among other rumored titles, a "Pokemon" game is reportedly coming to the Nintendo Switch.
