"Outlander" season 3 is hyping up the anticipation with constant teasers and fans go crazy with just the tiniest bit of detail. Now, a hint about filming the "Print Shop" scene for the upcoming season is making the fandom on fire. What could they be so excited about?
'Outlander' Season 3: Print Shop
"Outlander" season 3 co-executive producer Maril Davis recently teased the filming of the "Print Shop" scene. All he did was say it was an "exciting day" on the set and fans just went crazy. The co-producer also mentioned about something that she has been waiting to see and fans automatically knew what she was talking about.
Reports claim that fans have been anticipating the "Print Shop" scene for "Outlander" season 3. For weeks, the cast and crew have been teasing fans about the filming of the scene. Check out the Twitter post of Sam Heughan (Jaime) below.
The "Print Shop" scene is somewhat a confirmation of more intimate scenes between Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie. To recall, "Outlander" season 2 ended with a pregnant Claire and Jamie. However, Claire left the 18th century to reunite with her first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies) in 1948. This wouldn't last long, however.
The third book - which "Outlander" season 3 is based on - titled "Voyager" will see Claire returning to 1766 to Scotland and meets Jaime in a print shop. Yes, that's right. The much-anticipated reunion of Claire and Jaime will happen in a print shop. That's why fans have been anticipating the filming of this particular scene.
Other Plot Details
In a previous interview with Variety, Sam Heughan likened "Outlander" season 3 to having death in the family. The two lead stars of the series have been filming scenes separately until now. Heughan said that it's hard to film scenes without Balfe. This also spurred speculations that an on-going romance is brewing between the two.
However, no confirmation and photos were released about the highly-anticipated scene. "Outlander" season 3 is expected to air April of 2017.
