Unsatisfied with "Dunkirk"s mere 60-second teaser last August? Well, the good news is, "Dunkirk" has dropped its first full trailer just this Wednesday. On top of that, glimpses of Harry Styles flexing his acting skills as shown too.
"Dunkirk", a British war film, follows a group of soldiers making their way to Dunkirk's French port in hopes of rescuing 300,000 allied soldiers. They later find themselves surrounded by the German army.
The "Dunkirk" movie is created by the award-winning director, Christopher Nolan. Thus, it is expected that the upcoming movie is a must-watch.
The two-minute "Dunkirk" trailer released by Warner Bros. Pictures opens with a scene of soldiers on a street picking up leaflets dropped by German planes. It was then revealed that German forces urge the British soldiers to surrender.
The first look on "Dunkirk" seems as though there will be no shortage of drama. Also, the characters shown do not look like they will make some derring-do.
The story of "Dunkirk" is set in World War II. In the trailer, plenty of battles can be seen - be it by land or by sea.
The "Dunkirk" trailer also showed a fair amount of shots where actors can be seen staring lonely at the sky. That being said, viewers should expect lots of devastating scenes.
Sights of "One Direction" member Harry Styles were also shown. Styles has just started trying his hand at acting. And "Dunkirk" is going to be his debut film.
However, he does not have any lines in the "Dunkirk" trailer. Even so, fans are still anticipating to see how Styles will fare in acting.
Aside from Styles, Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy stars "Dunkirk" as well. They are also joined by the Oscar winner Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Fionn Whitehead. The cmovie is slated to debut in the big screens on July 2017.
