Square Enix At Jump Festa 2016
There are reports claiming that Square Enix will attend the Jump Festa 2016 on December 17-18 prompting speculations that there will be revelations made about "Kingdom Hearts 3." The studio is currently working on several games titles from the "Dragon Quest" and the "Kingdom Hearts" franchises. This comes after the release of "Final Fantasy XV" last month.
The expected titles from the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise include the "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix" and the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue." While "Kingdom Hearts 3" is not listed in the line-up, fans still believe that juicy details will be tackled.
'Kingdom Hearts 3' Worlds
Game director Tetsuya Nomura stated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is coming along as scheduled and teased that there will be new Disney worlds, where players can do all sorts of things like fly, jump and explore into. The characters will also have wider space and higher range of maneuverability, GamingBolt added.
As such, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to be bigger and better in terms of its gameplay. As of this date, three worlds were announced to be included: "Hercules, "Tangled" and "Big Hero 6."
However, other Disney world is also being teased in the game such as "Frozen," "Wreck-it Ralph," "Brave," "Zootopia," "The Jung Book," "Toy Story," and much more. Meanwhile, game co-director Tai Yasue added more to the speculations by teasing that Sora and company will also meet characters from "Star Wars" and Marvel franchises.
However, fans were quick to point out that it may take some time to acquire rights from Disney. There are also speculations that the cancellation of "Disney Infinity" could lead the way for Square Enix to gain added rights to Marvel and Star Wars characters.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is slated to be released anytime in 2017. While the game is expected to roll out on PS4 and Xbox One, there are rumors that the game may be available on PC as well.
