Cathy Nesbitt-Stein has returned and Abby Lee Miller is not happy at all. However, recent reports suggest that Kendall Vertes will be the last card that the ALDC coach will use to completely destroy her returning opponent. Kendall is also being dubbed as the "new Maddie Ziegler."
The latest "Dance Moms" episode saw Abby having a pep talk with her students, warning them about their performances and letting them know what's next. Kendall has been given the task of performing a solo on "The Scream." It appears, though, that Abby wants more from her student.
As Kendall prepares for practice, Abby reminds her that the solo she will take on is a routine that Maddie is an expert of. For starters, Maddie was the star of the "Dance Moms" franchise. However, she decided to exit the show during the sixth installment. Her exit has opened doors for other students to shine, and that includes Kendall.
Some fans believe that Kendall is the new Maddi Ziegler. She has managed to shine since Maddie left and she continues to beat the spotlight. It is then speculated that Kendall will soon be the new face of "Dance Moms" and the ALDC. It also appears that Abby knows this well and she will use Kendall's skills to her advantage.
Cathy, on the other hand, is not ready to experience defeat once more. Her Candy Apples Studio has been defeated numerous times by the ALDC but this time, she is planning to steal the "Dance Moms" spotlight. She has placed Nicaya's "Harriet" against Kendall.
Kendall wins the competition and Nicaya and her mom start a fight. The ADLC streak spearheaded by Kendall moves forward as the group wins first place with their striking routine for "Pretty Reckless." Abby has then proved to Cathy that she is still the star of "Dance Moms."
Meanwhile, it is expected that Kendall will keep fighting for her position as the greatest contender to replace Maddie Ziegler's vacant post in the ALDC. Abby has announced earlier in the season that in this season of "Dance Moms," her students will have to compete for to become members of her "Super Team."
Will Kendall make it to the same level that Maddie did? Stay tuned for more updates on "Dance Moms," which airs every Tuesday on Lifetime.
