The latest update of "Pokemon Go" includes the said generation 2 Pokemon. However, there has a twist to that update. Instead, the generation 2 Pokemon are obtained through eggs. Those baby Pokemon that fans know and love are now included in the updates such as Pichu, Togepi, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, and Igglybuff.
Somehow, Niantic Labs makes these as an entry to the full generation 2 Pokemon in the future. As of now, there hasn't been an update yet but fans know that there will be soon. Other fans were disappointed because many thought that these new Pokemon can be encountered in the wild, but are hatched from eggs instead.
Three types of eggs and how to obtain them
There are three types of eggs that a player can obtain from PokeStops everywhere in "Pokemon Go"---these are 2 KM, 5 KM, and 10 KM eggs. When one player walks and completes a certain distance while the eggs are incubated, one of the baby generation 2 Pokemon can be obtained. One player online even gained an Igglybuff from hatching a 2 KM egg. Other than the mentioned baby Pokemon, Clefa and Tyrogue are there as well. The higher the kilometers of the egg, the rare the Pokemon will hatch from it.
To obtain these eggs, players are encouraged to go to the nearest PokeStops and spin them to get items including the egg. In addition, to increase the chances of getting the Pokemon, some are hard to obtain, players are required to hatch numerous eggs, provided that the incubators are enough to cover a certain number.
These PokeStops are an important source, which is the reason why fans and players alike will aim to those PokeStops. In line with the other famous establishments such as Starbucks listed as one of the PokeStops, advertising is at hand indeed. Players of "Pokemon Go" will expect more updates in the future and hopefully, Niantic Labs will provide full throttle on generation 2 Pokemon.
