The "Star Wars Battlefront" is giving away early Christmas present to players after it arrived on the EA and Origin Access for free. Reports reveal that, the game is now downloadable and playable to all EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access on PC members. The exciting news was revealed just days after "Star Wars: Rogue One" hits theaters on Friday.
The journey of the "Star Wars Battlefront" has not been smooth and that's why EA DICE chose it over Battlefield when it comes to development. Recently, DICE announced that, there won't be any "Battlefield" titles coming in the next two year after the team decided to concentrate on the "Star Wars Battlefront" game.
According to the news, it is the game's lack of solid content that made players shy away from the game. Also, AotF mentioned how the "Star Wars: Battlefront" had a limited selection of maps and gamemodes and the absence of a single player campaign. The move to deliver the game in the Vault is prodded by EA's hope to rebuild its fanbase and have former players return to the game.
Instead of capitalizing on the game for the game itself, The EA and the Origin Access benefited from these big titles; gaining them more numbers of subscribers. In fact, the addition of big titles like Titanfall, Simcity and Mass Effect on the Vault brought new surge of members signing up for the feature.
Members of the EA and and the Origin Access also enjoy discounted price on digital games as well as early access on all EA releases. Meanwhile, the latest "Star Wars Battlefront" update 1.11 is out now with support on Rogue One and VR DLC.
