"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" has surrounded the web on so many occasions, and the release of characters have continued to make the title even more crucial to players. That being said, the latest addition to the game may be one that some could both agree and disagree to.
The recently concluded "King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016" held in Japan highlighted a number of players all across the globe, crowning Korean representative Saint as the champion. Going up against the finalist CHANEL, Saint brought home the gold after coming from a bracket reset that came to a tied series. However, one of the most noticeable highlights came from the announcement made post the said "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" tournament.
According to recent reports, the new addition to the roster of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is one that many can recall, namely the furry tandem of Kuma and Panda. Both characters existed during the earlier parts of the series, with a storyline that many have grown to love. Kuma is known to be the bodyguard of Heihachi Mishima, whereas Panda serves as the best friend and protector of Ling Xiaoyu. Story-wise, it was said that Kuma has been brought back to fight with Heihachi via Tekken Force, while Panda looks for Xiaoyu after not returning from her search of Jin Kazama.
Sadly, however, this may upset a few players here and there, as it was revealed that Kuma and Panda are two separate characters. "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" welcomed a series of new characters in the past months along with a few updates from time to time, which pleased players accordingly. However, the lack of many others and the limited slots to put them in proves vital at this point-thus, making two characters with almost the same exact move set may be a waste of space to some.
Do you think that Kuma and Panda should be separate characters for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution?" Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below before the game hits the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 early next year.
