'Rock The Troops’ News: Shirtless Terry Crews SIngs Taylor Swift in Musical Tribute

Spike TV's "Rock the Troops" was a special meant to give back to the military as a thank you for their service.  The event, hosted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was supported by stars such as Matthew McConaughey, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Keegan Michael-Key. But one act stole the show - a shirtless Terry Crews singing and dancing to Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off."

In the "Rock The Troops" number, "The Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star starts off showing up in camos and boots with his abs in full display, marching with a platoon of uniformed personnel at the background chanting a military marching song "I don't know but I've been told...", as he goes along he moves on to the opening bars to the chorus of the hit Talylor Swift song. Terry Crews is also known to be very light on his feet, strutting and breakdancing to comedic effect.

"Rock The Troops" celebrates the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and was shot in location in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. The event producers were not expecting such a good turnout.  According to producer Don Mischer, "We never know how many people would attend the event. No one bought tickets, you were just welcomed in when you showed your military pass."

The people then started coming in in droves. "We were hoping for 12,000 to 15,000 military families. But by 2 pm in the afternoon, we were being told that people were lined up for blocks around the entrances...we were stunned," Mischer added.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who comes from a military family and has Navy SEALs in his brood, hosts the rare event. Along with the live lineup of comedians and musicians with Terry Crews were taped appearances by George Clooney, Chris Pratt and Melissa McCarthy.

Spike TV broadcasted "Rock The Troops" in December 13 at 9pm. What do you think of Terry Crews' skit? Place your thoughts on the comment sections below.
