Adidas, the world renowned manufacturer of sports goods, has launched ts latest sports shoes, the Adidas 3D Runner in New York City. The limited edition shoe Pre-orders for the limited edition shoes have started via Adidas Confirmed app for iOS and Android. The exclusive pair is available only in New York City, London and Tokyo for now. Pick-up location for NYC is Adidas' new flagship store on 5th Avenue. The shoes are also expected to be available in London and Tokyo on December 15, 2017.
The Adidas 3D Runner features the same design as the one that Adidas awarded to the 2016 Rio Olympics medalists. Though the shoes given to the Olympians had a gold, silver or bronze-trimmed flat shoelaces, the ones available to consumers have round black shoelaces. The Adidas 3D Runner has a black Primeknit upper structure that gives a comfortable snug to the user's feet that also adjusts when necessary especially during a run. It has the same concept with Adidas Ultraboost and Adidas Yeezy. The 3D printed material as its name suggests is on the midsole which also acts as the cushioning system.
The Adidas 3D Runner was first introduced about a year ago as an all-white shoe but later an all-black colorway was said to be made available to the public. The Adidas 3D Runner is one of the first Futurecraft Projects of Adidas. The German brand is poised to create shoes specially customized for an individual. The outcome would be based on a "person's footprint" putting in mind an individual's foot shape, the running style and performance needs as well as the preference.
The Adidas 3D Runner is set at $333 at launch date. As with the other Adidas exclusive shoes, The Addidas 3D runner is expected to sell out fast and it will most likely end up on a third-party market online at sky high prices.
