Here's some Wednesday humpday news to get gamers going til the weekend. The December update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is now live and there's a slew of awesome new things to look forward to. In fact, Infinity Ward and Activision has just released the "Winter Crash" map, along with five other maps in the update. There's also new modes and new female characters to look forward to.
The news comes courtesy of Gamespot, which reports that the multiplayer mode of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" has just added six new maps. Among the six new maps is "Winter Crash," which was previously only available on PC. The other maps include Bloc, Countdown, Showdown, Pipeline, Strike, and Wet Work. Gamers should also expect the maps' 24/7 playlist come December 20.
The December update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" also features two new game modes, namely "Gun Game" and "Hardpoint." Gamers who complete missions in the "Winter Crash" map will also be able to get their hands on two awesome new holiday-themed weapon camos aptly named "Gift Wrap" and "Ugly Sweater."
As per IGN, the December update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will also feature supply drops. These supply drops will enable several personalization options, which include weapon camos, reticles, combat uniforms, emblems, calling cards, melee weapons, weapons customization, and new characters.
Speaking of new characters, the December update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" has added female characters to the roster. This is the first time that female fighters will be playable in the game. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" originally dropped in 2007 for Xbox 306, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" arrived to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC this November.
