Rapper Kanye West emerged in public anew after his stress-related hospitalization over the Thanksgiving weekend. Always the showman, the 39-year old courted controversy anew - this time with his recent visit to President-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower.
TIME reported that Trump went ahead to tell reporters that he and Kanye are "just friends - and he's a good man." Kanye, for his part, declined to disclose details on the meeting. He avoided questions on whether he'll perform at Trump's inauguration or run for President in 2020, saying "I just wanted to take a picture right now."
Kanye remarkably declared his support for Trump during his meltdown in California, which abruptly ended his Saint Pablo Tour prior to hospitalization. The rapper quipped, "I told y'all I didn't vote, right? But if I would've voted, I would've voted for Trump."
Trump's team is currently struggling to sign performers to perform at a concert during Trump's inauguration - reportedly set on the National Mall, The Telegraph has reported. The Republican candidate's highly-divisive campaign is widely seen as a major factor behind such dilemma.
Kanye's meeting with Trump isn't the only intriguing factor return to the public eye. The rapper's new blond hairstyle caught people's attention, cultivating speculations that something's up with the "All of the Lights" hitmaker.
Reports that he and spouse Kim Kardashian are currently experiencing marital woes amid his hospitalization have riddled the rumor mill, with colorist Laurie Daniel, via the New York Times, offering a rather-intriguing viewpoint: "Whenever someone comes in and suddenly wants a major color change out of nowhere, it usually means something is up."
Even so, no one really knows whether there really is something coming up with #blondye - now a popular hashtag among fans speculating about Kanye's blond do. Watch Kanye West's meeting with Trump in a footage by CNN below:
