"Frozen 2" fans are getting excited with the latest news that has been going around. Though Disney has not confirmed anything just yet, fans of Anna, Elsa and Olaf are certainly thrilled to hear any news about the 2013 box office hit.
"Frozen 2" News & Update: Prince Charming For Elsa? True Love For Olaf?
It has been reported that Disney made mention of a sequel for "Frozen" sometime in 2015. Since then, news about "Frozen 2" has been circulating and making fans excited.
Rumours suggest that in "Frozen 2," there will be a new character, a king, who will sweep Elsa off her feet. Olaf, the film's friendly and brave snowman, is reported to find true love as well. Love is definitely in the air of Arendelle!
Elsa and Anna's voice actors, Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, are reported to reprise their roles as well. Josh Gad, who voiced Olaf, is expected to return in "Frozen 2" as well. If the green light is given, Chris Buck will direct the "Frozen" sequel.
"Frozen" is an inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen tale "The Snow Queen" which revolves around Anna and Elsa, with the help of Kristoff, Sven and Olaf, trying to restore Arendelle from eternal winter. However, according to film director, "Frozen 2" will look at the lives of Elsa and Anna separately.
"Frozen 2" News & Update: Movie Delayed Due To "Moana's" Success?
According to some reports, "Frozen 2" might be released on November 2018. However, due to the success of "Moana," Disney is allegedly thinking of doing "Moana 2" first rather than "Frozen 2."
In a report by Deadline, "Moana" opened with $15.68 million, beating "Frozen" with only $15.1 million. "Moana" even out performed "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find It" with $55.5 million compared to the latter's $45.1 million. Are you excited with the release of "Frozen 2?"
