The Walking Dead: Season Two - Episode One: "All That Remains" may be the lengthiest videogame title in quite a while, but it's also the sequel to what's arguably the best game last year. Forget the comics, forget the tv show- it turns out that videogames were the best way to tell the story of a zombie apocalypse.
The official synopsis: "The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series will continue the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned at the outset of the undead apocalypse, now left to her own devices to seek safety and survive in a world gone mad. Now assuming the role of an ordinary child, players will struggle to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions."
This "season" will once again consist of five episodes that release roughly every month. Hope you kept your saves from the first season of The Walking Dead and the DLC 400 Days, because if you did it will change your experience playing through the second season. As with the first game there will be plenty of hard decisions to make that will completely change where your story leads. Depending on the choices you made in the first game Clementine could be better prepared for everything to come, and depending on who survived she might meet up with a different crowd.
Check out the full trailer for "All That Remains" below for an idea of what to expect. The first half of the trailer is a recap of what Clementine has been through up to this point, while the second gives a glimpse of all the horrors she'll soon be facing. Poor kid.
Expect the game to hit soon... very soon. If you pre-order through Telltale's Store you can get 10 percent off the season pass on PC/Mac, although it will also be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and iOS. Don't forget that their other game seriesThe Wolf Among Us (based on the comic Fables) is still continuing its story, with the second episode due to hit shortly! It's a good time to be a Telltale fan.
