“EastEnders” Christmas Spoilers, News and Update: Jay Turned Out of Home for Being Pedophile; More Details Revealed

Jay Mitchell's (Jamie Borthwick) record for child pornography and his five-year listing as a sexual offender work against him when it is found out by authorities that he is living in the same house with a minor, meaning Louise (Tilly Keeper). This news was sprung on the Mitchell's when an officer came by their house to look into the matter.

The officer also informs Jay that the matter will need further investigation and advises Jay to seek another living situation. It means that for an indefinite period through the Christmas season, Jay will be homeless. Although there does not seem to be any indication of a problem at home of that nature, because of his history of having a relationship with a minor, Linzi Bragg who was 14 years old, along with the discovery of Bragg's photos on his phone, Jay has no choice but go through the situation.

Even though Phil (Steve McFadden) speaks up on Jay's behalf, it is possible that this could only be a disadvantage to Jay's part. But it being the Christmas season, the Mitchell's cannot help but feel the holidays are turning out to be a less happy occasion.

It seems Christmas is not going to be a jolly season at all on "EastEnders." Amid Max's (Jake Wood) plans for revenge, Bex's (Jasmine Armfield) and Shakil's (Shaheen Jafargholi) relationship troubles, and now the Mitchells are going to have to deal with the possibility of "pedophile" Jay moving out.

It would seem like Jay really is one troubled individual after this development. It appears that he keeps getting himself into these troubling situations. There was that time when he worked for the Coker and Sons Funeral Home and he was caught pinching jewelry off a dead woman in the parlor.

What will Christmas be like at the Mitchell's when Jay is turned out of their home? Amid their differences, will Phil be able to support Jay through another troubled era? What will Jay's next move be?

In related news, viewers of the show are pointing out a serious flaw in the plot for the upcoming episode. Approaching Christmas, residents of Albert Square are all taking part in a play that Denise has written based on "A Christmas Carol." The thing is, with everyone---except an odd one or two---involved in the play production, the audience is asking who will their audience be when they put on the show.

The EastEnders will be back Dec. 13 at 7:30 PM on BBC One.
