Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie Announces 2017 Tour

Mariah Carey just dropped a huge announcement. The "All I want for Christmas" singer joins "Endless Love" singer Lionel Richie in a 2017 tour.

Both of the R&B Grammy-winning artists announced on Monday that their "All the Hits Tour" is slated to begin on March 15 next year. They will make their first stop in Baltimore at the Royal Farms Arena.

Lionel Richie first confirmed the big news on his Twitter account, tagging Mariah Carey. He also expressed his anticipation in having Mariah Carey as his "very special guest." The "All I Want for Christmas" singer posted a tweet as well confirming that she will be touring with Richie.

Following her tweet, Mariah Carey also posted an update on her Instagram account. She shared a picture of her and Richie with a caption saying she is in delight to announce that they will be going on a concert tour together.

 

This is the first time Mariah Carey will be working with Richie, as per Billboard. Imagine two hitmakers performing together in one arena. How awesome would that be?

Aside from performing in Baltimore as the tour's first stop, Mariah Carey and Richie will also perform 34 more shows across North America. See the list below.
