After Galaxy Note 7 scandal , Samsung has been down the dumps since then. It has promised the public on investigating further for the cause of Note's 7 battery explosion and until now it still left usersdubious. This time an independent company has done a thorough analysis of its own.
It can be remembered that Samsung left consumers with an explanation last September that the issue is caused by one relating to its lithium polymer battery manufacturing which is processed by Samsung SDI. One reason would be on its too much tension used in manufacturing. The company then opts to repair the affected phones.
But few weeks later, the batteries in those replacement units were reported to have exploded. This then caused Samsung's name to shame. After such controversy, Samsung decided not to recall but to cancel its line of product.
However, as the public being unconvinced with Samsung's explanation, Instrumental, an independent company, committed to find and fix issues caused by workmanship, part quality, process, and design, has conducted its separate study hoping to unveil the reason behind Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery explosion.
In fact in Phone Dog's report it confirms that engineers at Instrumental recently got their hands over Note 7 and initially states that the cause was an issue over the design as also confirmed by Anna Shedletsky, CEO of the said company.
To be more specific, Samsung did not give enough space for Galaxy Note 7's battery. Every time the battery charges and discharges, the lithium which is inside of the battery, can cause the battery to swell. That's it has beendeclared that the smartphone's battery was not given enough space to expand.
Hence, Instrumental further explained that "the design and validation process for a new product is challenging for everyone. In this case, Samsung took a deliberate step towards danger, and their existing test infrastructure and design validation process failed them. "
Could this be the main reason? Until then, Samsung has yet to comment on this recent report. We shall now be monitoring this and will update more so don't forget to stay tuned only here in GameNGuide.
