iPhone 8 Rumors & Updates: According to Macrumors, we can expect the new iPhone to be released by the fall of 2017. And iPhone 8 is expected to come in three variations instead of the just two (standard and plus variations).
As we have noticed, Apple is not intending to create an iPhone 7s version since they are intending to create a total redesign for the next iPhone series. An "S" version is only made if the physical features of the model is maintained while the specifications will be upgraded. However, iPhone 8 will be different both in appearance and specifications.
Also, iPhone 8 is expected to be released in three different variations. The standard iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and an iPhone 8 OLED. iPhone 8 OLED will feature an edge-to-edge OLED display that will have integrated Touch ID and front-facing camera.
Another surprising feature for the upcoming iPhone 8 series is that it is expected to go without the traditional home button. So the touch ID and camera will be embedded directly onto the display screen itself. With this, Apple also intends to start their line of iPhones that will be using wireless charging technology.
The display of iPhone 8 will become a flexible OLED, allowing a thinner device that will also consume less power and offers a more vivid display. It may somehow be similar with Samsung Edge series. However, we can expect Apple to make something "different" so as not to have any copyright issues.
The iPhone 8 may also have a 10-nanometer A11 chip - a faster and more efficient chip that will maximize the efficiency and battery life of the phone.
There still are more expectations regarding the next iPhone. However, these are all mere speculations or sort of teasers that Apple has been offering their consumers. But the iPhone 8 will be unveiled by the fall of 2017, and if we were thrilled with the iPhone 7's astounding features, we can't wait to see what the next in line could be offering soon.
