‘Limitless’ Season 2 Renewal News & Update: Series To Renewal Despite Cancellation, Crossover With ‘Breaking Bad’ Possible? Details Here!

"Limitless" season 2 may have been canceled but this doesn't mean fans won't stop calling for the series to get renewed. Many fans believe that it's still possible to air the show despite the confirmed cancellation, citing the possibility of a crossover from "Breaking Bad."

'Limitless' Season 2 Renewal Possible?

The efforts of many fans to renew "Limitless" season 2 may finally be heard according to latest speculations. Despite the on-going cancellation rumors for the CBS series, fans insist on hoping that the series will still air.

In fact, some of them have suggested that a "Breaking Bad" crossover may just be what the series need to get renewed. Many fans are hopeful that a deal between the producers of "Limitless" season 2 and "Breaking Bad" season 6 may take place.

However, "Limitless" season 2 actor Bradley Cooper - who happens to be one of the executive producers - keeps his silence regarding the matter. Regardless, though, fans have already created a storyline that the series could follow in case it gets renewed.

'Breaking Bad' Crossover

According to reports, "Limitless" season 2 may see Brian Finch along with Jess Pinkman from "Breaking Bad." The two characters share similar dealings with drugs, giving connection to their two different worlds. This is one of the main angles seen as to why a crossover from "Breaking Bad" season 6 is possible.

However, there are also opposing parties, who believe that the crossover may never happen. For one, "Limitless" season 2 and "Breaking Bad" season 6 are from different networks. "Breaking Bad" is aired on AMC while "Limitless" is aired on CBS.  This could prove very strenuous to arrange. More so, earlier reports suggest that Cooper may not reprise his role if the next installment if ever it gets aired.

Speculations say that the actor wanted to give his full attention to his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Irina Shayk, who is currently pregnant. It remains unknown why Netflix and Amazon have decided not to pick up "Limitless" season 2 considering the huge followers it has amassed.
