Triple H has been busy doing his job outside WWE shows, trying to pull off some strings to spur up the company’s stock. He is expected to return soon, possibly in time for Wrestlemania 33 where he is believed to be facing Seth Rollins.
However, Triple H’s potential opponent may not be limited to “The Architect”. With a batch of new talent, he could easily take on the likes of Bill Goldberg or even The Undertaker if needed. What about Shane McMahon?
Shane McMahon returned to the WWE scene back in February. He left the company back in 2009 but it seems Shane-O-Mac wants to take over the creative team of the company, Vice Sports reported. Along with that is control of the WWE, something that could be up once Vince McMahon retires.
With those plans in mind, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon seem to have been threatened with Shane’s return. Prior to Shane-O-Mac’s return, the two seemed to be in total control. But as most know, the WWE has struggled so far meaning the change could be forthcoming.
Stephanie and Shane have crossed paths and word of a developing sibling rivalry is not surprising. Add Triple H to the mix and you get some heat evolving. Could this be the reason why WWE fans have yet to see Triple H and Shane McMahon cross paths?
WWE legend Ric Flair seems to be aware of it though perhaps not that deep. He did suggest a possible Shane McMahon vs. Triple H card for Wrestlemania 33, something that could be more than just a match as the “Nature Boy” dished on “The Ric Flair Show”.
Shane McMahon has been known for his daredevil moves but would that be enough for a showdown with the “Cerebral Assassin”? It may just work still depends on the storylines happening in the coming months.
